When I blog, I have the tendency to browse other websites while I finish one blog entry. Ganyan ako ka-aligaga. I go to Pinterest. I check my Facebook. I check my mails. And I also check other blogs. Martine's blog led me to this blog that had a list of the songs dedicated to the memory of Cory Monteith.
We all know that Cory, who played the role of Finn in Glee, died last week because of the lethal combination of heroine and alcohol. He was 31 years old.
Alvin was asking bakit apektadong apektado daw ako.
First, he was so young. He was one of the stars of Glee. He sings well. He acts well. Ang pogi niya. Sayang. I feel madami pa talaga siyang maaaccomplish supposedly.
Second, he and his Glee co-star and real-life girlfriend, Lea Michele were in love.
Dun ako pinaka na-sad.
You may call me a hopeless romantic or whatever pero I feel that it's really tragic when you lose the one you love. Hindi ko yata kakayanin if any one of the people I love goes. Knock on wood.
Anyways, going back to that list that I was telling you about earlier, I googled all the videos watched each and every episode na sinabi dun. I loved them all. Nakakakilabot, lekat na yan.
Among those 9 songs, this was my favorite.

Na-sad din ako dito. I was so shocked when I got a text msg from my sis about this. Nakakainis na nakakalungkot. I didn't think I'd be that affected either, but oh well... I guess he resonated with me more than I thought. Ang bata pa kasi. And he was engaged to Lea Michele, right? Naman. :/
ReplyDeleteYou're right Ms. Toni. He was so young and for me parang walang kwenta how he died. Sayang talaga. I read that keri na keri siya ni Lea Michele when he's in the US. Kaso ayun umuwi sa Canada so baka he got influenced again.

My hubby asked me the same question when we learned Cory passed away. He even commented, "Close kayo?" Nakakatawa pero naapektuhan talaga ako. I like him too, sayang talaga...

ReplyDeletefor the first time I started reading your blog, ngayon lang ako naiyak... naiyak kasi sad.... to be honest me and my daughters were really greatly affected as well. kasi since nag-start ang Glee nakatutok talaga kami... We so love Cory's role as well yung loveteam nila ni Lea.... Yes mommy Fleur, they are engaged and was supposed to get married in 2 weeks time. Really felt bad and sad....
