Europe Trip 2012: Breakfast in the Ghetto and the Joan of Arc Church

I know it's super duper delayed na pero please pagbigyan niyo na ako. I want to finish my Europe Trip 2012 posts. Hinahabol ko before mag-one year! Lol!

We stayed in Paris for two nights. On the third day, we set off to Luxemburg and Germany. We wanted sana to go to the Chocolate Factory in Germany however, na-late na kami ng alis sa Paris.

We went around to look for a place to eat. Sa dami dami naman na mapupuntahan dun pa talaga kami sa parang ghetto nila nakakita ng place where to have bread and coffee.

That's my cousin Ate Cindy with her daughter. Ate Cindy's a nurse and they're based in London
The only place that was open ay yung mga bars. They serve naman croissant and coffee so keri na.

Outfit of the day:

Scarf: H&M; Jacket: Mango; Pants: Mango; Boots: borrowed from my niece. Bumigay na kasi yung boots ko kakalakad namin sa Paris
I have kwento.

While we were having breakfast, our rented van was parked mga 100 meters away. Kita pa din naman namin yung van because we were seated near the big window of the bar/restaurant. Suddenly, my cousin told my dad that there's this guy daw who was trying to open our van's door. Ayun, my dad went out of the restaurant and walked towards our van. Alvin and my cousin's husband was behind him. When they reached the van, nandun pa din yung guy. He was peering inside the vehicle. Si Alvin humawak na ng tubo. My dad signaled him no. Sorry naman. Basagulero lang ang peg ng asawa ko palibhasa sanay sa away dito sa Pinas. Lol. Anyways, nakaramdam ang guy. He slowly moved away from the vehicle.

Kaloka dun. May mga ganung nakawan pala na ganap. It didn't help kasi na dun pa talaga kami sa ghetto nila kumain.

Moving forward, nn our way to Luxemburg, we passed by the Reims Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was where the kings of France were once crowned. This was where Charles VII was crowned who Joan of Arc supported.

It was so beautiful inside. I really love old churches.

A statue of St. John the Baptist can be found inside. Animo La Salle!

This was the place where the kings and queens sat during coronation night. Feeling queen na din ako diyan. Two minutes after that shot was taken, pinaalis ako nung matandang French guy. Di daw ako bagay dun. Chos.

Joan of Arc paved the way for Charles VII to be king. Kaya siguro may-I-build-you-a-rebulto ang peg nila for her there.

That's it!

Stand by for the Luxemburg and Germany post =)
