Post 2nd Year BF/GF Anniversary Celebration

Dinner: Nihonbashitei Japanese Restaurant, Makati City

Coffee: Seattles Best Coffee Shop

Yesterday, when I was busy reading my favorite blogs, I suddenly realized that we forgot all about our BF/GF anniversary which was last June 8, 2010. After 14 years of whatnot, we became "officially" together in that park in Baguio two years ago

I texted Alvin immediately!

Me: Babe, we forgot to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary as Bf/Gf!

Alvin: Isabay na lang natin babe dun sa first wedding anniverasary natin this September

I didnt reply. I felt bad. Everyone knows that Im an occasion person. Combining celebrations of special events is a big no-no for me (including combining gifts for two different occasions). I dunno Im just like that. I want kasi things like this to be special eh -- SEPARATELY.

Then siguro nakarealize ang lolo niyo so i received this text from him:

Alvin: Tara babe, labas tayo mamya to celebrate. San mo gusto magpunta?

I still didnt reply kasi parang natatamad na din ako. I was surprised when he came home early and told me to make bihis na kasi magde-date daw kami =)

He asked me where I wanted to eat. I said i wanted to eat a lot of sashimi and if he wants, we can eat na lang at the eat all you can buffet of Dad's. Sabi niya sa Nihonbashitei na lang. Not so expensive pero super sarap na Japanese food. Quality over Quantity. And so I said yes.

This was the only photo of  us together for the night. We ate inside one of the private rooms of the restaurant.

Anyways, i was wearing my loose Mango dress (not sure if I bought it when i was still pregnant) and my Cole Vintage sandals (not pictured)

They had big servings! Look at the size of those California Maki!

This was everything that we ordered. From top left to right (Sushi/sashimi platter w/ soup, seafood salad, steamed gyoza, tuna sashimi, raw squid and califonia maki)

Our bill was Php 1,200 only. Super quality japanese food at a very reasonable price 

Kala namin kulang ang food pero super nakakabusog siya! We weren't able to finish everything!

Do you know why my face was like this?!

My face was like that because my hubby was looking so gwapo in his Zara T-Shirt and Levi's Jeans but...

...was wearing this cheap slippers!!! -- TO OUR ANNIVERSARY DATE!!!

Me: Babe bakit yan naman ang suot mo?! Ang special special ng occasion tpos naka cheap slippers ka!

Alvin: Bakit ikaw nakaslippers ka din ah!

Me: Hindi to slippers! Sandals to! Kita mo nga may mga brillante eklavuh pa!

Alvin: Mahal to noh!

Me: Mukhang sa palengke lang nabili babe eh!

Alvin: Bakit ba?! Nung first year anniv dinner natin naka-slippers ka din ah!

Me: Havaianas yun babe.

Alvin: Wala na akong sinabi.

=)

After the filling dinner, we were supposed to watch a movie pa. But I felt sleepy na and I wanted to go home kasi I missed Anika (nanay na nanay na ang dating noh?). Alvin said to have coffee na lang muna so we went to Seattles Best Coffee Shop para maiba naman.

Alvin had a brewed coffee which kept him awake that night while I had the Double Chocolate Mint drink

I asked Alvin if we can go to the Swatch Store in Greenbelt 5 because I wanted to check out this Mister Pure watch. (Disclaimer: promise checkout lang talaga! with our tight budget nowadays, i had no plans in buying it. promise!)

Anyways, when i saw it and asked Alvin if it was nice, he told me to buy it. I said no. He insisted but still I said no.

Me to the Saleslady: Ate pasukat nga. Pa feel lang

Alving: Buy it na babe, maganda sayo eh. Sige na, binili mo naman ako ng camera lens eh.

Saleslady: Si Ma'am oh, pakipot pa.. Bibilhin niya na yan...

Hindot! Epal much ateh? Joke =)

Anyways, so ayun Alvin bought it for me as his anniversary gift. I feel guilty though. We dont have a dining set PERO may maganda ako watch! PAK! =)

Me: Babe parang kelangan kong bumili ng new clothes to match my new watch. Hindi siya bagay sa mga dresses ko eh.

Alvin: Hindot! Napamahal pa ata ako lalo!

Thank you very much Babe!!! Kahit simple lang, I had fun celebrating our anniversary with you. I love my gift (and i hope you love my gift for you too!) And most important of them all, I love you sooooo much!!! Happy two years!!! These past two years have been my happiest years alive so far!! And advance happy father's day too Tatay!!
