WITH A WINNER!!!! What Mommies Need: Total Relaxation At The Spa {With A Giveaway!!!!}

Advertorial

I am a firm believer that ladies should treat themselves to a pampering session every now and then.

Aba, hindi madaling maging babae ano! Especially if you're juggling being a wife, being a homemaker, being a mother, having a career, a social life and a blog -- nakakaloka. Imagine all the stress that you go through on a daily basis.

Good thing that there are places like The Spa where you can relax and be pampered.

The Spa Wellness is one of my happy places. If only I could live there, I would =)

I must have done something really nice in my life because I was invited by The Spa Wellness to try their Volcanic Rock Massage and their Casmara Facial. Of course, I said yes right away!

So one afternoon, after work, I went to The Spa Wellness branch in Rockwell.

Upon entering the The Spa Wellness, you'd feel immediately relaxed na with the ambiance.

I was greeted by their very friendly staff. When I say friendly, as in yung mababait talaga ha? The staff of The Spa Wellness really makes sure that you have what you need and that you're okay without being suffocating. You know what I mean.

Anyways, I was told nga that I'll be having the Volcanic Rocks Massage first then the facial next. I asked if I can use their wet floor first kasi I want to take a nice long hot shower muna and siguro go inside the sauna for a while.

SPA ATTENDANT: Ay Ma'am, you have your own shower and jacuzzi inside your suite.

I can have what inside my what?!

OMG. Muntikan na ako magcartwheels dun sa sobrang excited!

I have daw my own shower and jacuzzi inside my very own suite! It's my first time to be able to experience that!

Here's what my suite looks like:

There's my massage bed and the jacuzzi.

The shower area was beside the jacuzzi and the sink was at the other side of it.

Here's a better photo of my suite for The Spa Wellness website.

Bonggang bongga lang right?! Relaxation to the highest level ba ang gusto niyo?!

I was told that I can soak in the jacuzzi for 30 minutes before I can have my massage.

So there I was in bliss with the bubbles....

.... while sipping my favorite Ginger Tea of The Spa. I swear I can drink liters and liters of this tea!

Omygod, it was heaven. I love how the water of the jacuzzi massaged my body. I love that I can just close my eyes and think of nothing while listening to the soothing music that was playing in the background. I love that while doing all that, I'm sipping my favorite tea.

After what I felt like a short period of time lang, a nice lady went inside my suite to tell me that it has been 30 minutes already (time flies very fast in that jacuzzi, I tell you) and so I showered already and prepared myself for the Volcanic Rock Massage.

The Volcanic Rocks Massage is a 75 minute massage that uses warm volcanic stones to massage you. This is good for aching muscles, directing the body's vital flow to clear blockage. My therapist also told me that this is good for people who have a lot of "lamig" in their bodies. Ako yun. I was just recovering from my cough and colds that time and believe me, guminhawa talaga ang pakiramdam ko after.

I asked my therapist to take a photo of me while all the stones were placed on my body to show you.

Nope, that's not me. I wish I was that pretty during the massage session. I got that from The Spa's website. My photo with all the stones isn't that pretty eh so that's the photo na lang that I showed you. It's more pleasing to the eye. Hahaha!

Anyways, they placed the stones on my back for a while. Masarap. Relaxing siya. Then my therapist made it "hagod" again on my back. With the soft background music, I almost fell asleep. I felt that I really, really needed that massage at that time.

After the 75 minutes massage, they started naman my Casmara Facial (well, after I asked for another cup of their Ginger Tea).

The Casmara Facial is a facial with an algae peel off mask. You get to choose if you want the one for sensitive skin or anti-aging or for oily skin. I chose the one for sensitive skin.

The facial started with the therapist cleaning my face thoroughly. I love the massage that she did also on my skin. And then supposedly they will extract the white heads and black heads pero that time I asked them not to do that to me anymore. She then proceeded to put the mask on me. Everything on my face was covered except my nostrils. I wanted sana the therapist to take a photo of the mask on me so that I can show it to you too however I can't because my mouth was covered. And so I just relaxed and waited until the mask set. After a few minutes, she removed my masked and cleaned my face again. After that, I touched my face. Ang lambot! My face felt really soft and rejuvenated. I should do this more often talaga. What's good about this facial is that it is a peel-off mask which you can take home, just put inside your refrigerator and re-use again for one more time!

This was I after the massage and the facial. I relaxed for a little bit more while sipping my Ginger Tea. It was so relaxing that I didn't want to leave yet.

While relaxing, I was thinking. You know, it's okay to be a superwoman most of the time. But we really need our downtime every now and then. One of the best things that I recommend is going to The Spa and treat yourself to this luxurious massage and facial. It's very sulit. Right after, babalik talaga your energy and nakakaganda magtrabaho again.

Well, I cook something I like to help me unwind. Something as tedious as embutido or siomai. Or sometimes, I blog-hop. Aside from the usuals (yours, Frances', Martine's, etc), I read whatever I can read over the net. Sometimes when I jebs, I read the back of the shampoo to help me do my business. Haha! I really, really, really wanna win this.

Drinking tea, taking long & hot baths, listening to jazz music, spending time in the kitchen cooking, doing laundry, plus playing with little kids never fail to relax the stressed workaholic in me. Recently, I discovered that watching Instagram vids bring so much joy too! I was never the motherly type (I love kids but Im not yet sold on the idea of having my own) but I fell inlove with #teamkramer 's videos. The kids are so cute and its fun to see how the parents are hands-on with their little cuties. I make it a point to check their accounts daily to see if they have new posts. Theyre always a joy to watch, made me realized that hey.. thats so rewarding & i can get used to that ;) Plus, winning this giveaway would be a great bday present for me. Thank you so much and keep up the good work ;) wedeliveryourneeds@gmail.com
