The Soshal Network's Anniversary Spa Party

You know guys, I get really happy when you tell me na I inspire you to start your own blogs. At least, I am able to influence you in a good way, hindi puros gastos. Hahahaha!

Imagine how giddy I was when one of my bestfriends, Vivian, told me that she wanted to start a blog with her two other bestfriends. They named their blog The Soshal Network.

Vivian's my friend from CSA. She and Pineda were my classmates in my fourth year class. She was my seatmate and sa kanya ako kumokopya. Like my other friends, Vivian's loka loka also. Something about birds and feathers flocking together. Ganyan. She was one of the reasons why kahit I was absent during election day, I was still voted class vice president. They assumed na gusto ko mag-class VP. And when the class president resigned, they made our class adviser promote me to class president. I wasn't in class again that time. They assumed na naman na okay lang sa akin maging class president of the most notorious section of the fourth year batch of that year.

Loka loka nga di ba?!

But she, along with Pineda and our other friends, made my final year in CSA one of the most memorable ones.

Anyways, hindi yan ang kwento ko. Like I told you, Vivian's loka loka. She's also very madaldal. The teachers back then kept on reprimanding us because we talked a lot during class. She also joined some of our classmates in stuffing the backpack of our other classmates with crumpled scratch paper when they weren't looking. It was hilarious.

But even if Vivian's loka loka, she was intelligent. She'd always be included in the class Top 10. I was also there trailing one or two spots behind her. Ang bait kasi niya magpakopya. Anyways, she went to take up a pre-law course in college at DLSU. Pineda, me and Vivian all went to DLSU for college but with different courses. After college, Vivian went to UP to take up law proper.

Imagine my surprise when she told me that she was Top 10 in that year's bar exam.

Takte, ang talino pala talaga ng friend ko! I couldn't bilibit!! But I was so proud of her =)

Now, I'm again proud of her because The Soshal Network turned one year old this month!!! Galing di ba? Last weekend, they invited me and some of the mommy bloggers for a Spa Party at St. Nails Nail Spa =) Ang soshal lang talaga.

Before I continue, here's Anika's outfit of the day. Don't ask me why she poses like that. She's into "wacky wacky" shots nowadays daw.

Shirt: SM Kids; Shorts: Gingersnaps: Sandals: Salt Water
They were already complete when I arrived there.

That's Cai aka Donya Paper Chic (hahaha) and Peachy having their nails done already.

The food was chuchal too! =) There were also different kinds of cold cuts that I wasn't able to take photos of.

They gave out disposable slippers with the nail spa packages that we can avail.

When Vivian told me that I could bring Anika and she can have her nails done too, hindi na ako nagpakipot pa. It was Anika's first ever nail salon experience and she loved it!

She chose the colors of her nail polish. At dahil kasing arte siya ng Nanay niya, she chose two colors. It was so cute!

While we were all being pampered, nagpagames pa ang mga girls of TSN. Whose line is it anyway ang peg. Camille delivered the lines (with gusto ha) from a Tagalog movie and we were to guess sinong artista ang nagsabi nun.

When Camille said, "You're nothing but a second rate, trying hard copycat.", I shouted Cherie Gil!!! Ay peyborit movie ko yan! Sharonian ata ito! Hahaha! Marsy of Panet Marsy won  that contest. Siya na ang tunay na reyna ng Tagalog films sa group na iyon!

Here's Em of Akira and Everything Nice. Her daughter was adorable! =)

Here's Marsy and Sha of Kikay Mommy Sha.

And here's me, relaxing to the max. Ay naku, I let Anika go around and around the whole salon kasi all I wanted was to relax. I love it that she found a friend in her Tita Camille (P of the TSN). Ninang na nga ang tawag niya kay Camille eh. O paano ba yan Camille, sa pasko ha? Hahahaha!

Vivian told me to try the gel nail polish and I did! Ang tagal ko nang curious with gel nail polishes eh. Of course I chose my trademark color. Until now, five days after that day, my nails still look good! No chipping!!! Winner talaga!

I had to take a photo op with my bestfriend and Anika's Ninang Peachy.

Wagas din ang group photo that day. I love it that everybody was so game! =)

If you're curious what my other fellow mommy blogger had with their nails, here they are:

Sha had nail art.

Donya Cai had matte nail polish. Ang ganda lang nito. I'm going to try this next time!

Mine.

Em's caviar nail polish. Sarap kainin! Hahahaha!

Another group shot with everybody this time =)

Nalingat lang ako saglit then bigla kong hinanap si Anika. I found her with the nail technicians having their photos taken with her. Pak!

Thank you so much P, S and D for the wonderful treat!!!

More power to you guys!!!!
