Grand Singapore Sale Loots

Strangely in this shopping trip with Wowa, I feel that I wasn't able to shop that much clothes for myself. At the airport while waiting for our plane to arrive, I noticed may natira pa akong money. Hindi ko naubos ang naka-budget na pangshopping. I dunno if it was because I wasn't feeling well masyado that weekend or dahil I matured na as a person. Before kasi when you say shopping, panic buying talaga ako. I buy A LOT of things. I buy so many clothes kahit yung hindi maganda ang fit sa akin or hindi ko naman talaga kailangan. I buy them thinking magkakasya din siya sa akin eventually or time will come that I will have a need to wear them.

Baka nagbago na ako.

Ummmm...

Hindi din.

Most probably because I was feeling sick that weekend lang nga! Hahahaha!

Anyways, dahil malakas kayo sa akin, I'm going to show you some of the stuff that I bought from the Great Singapore Sale.

First up are these bags from Cotton On. They sell for $5 per piece only. Kung alam ko lang na makakalusot kami sa over baggage, I should have bought more!

For Ikea, I got this cute placemat (set of 4) and tray.

Siyempre, I got also table napkins to last me until Papa arrives from Amsterdam later this year.

I got my MIL a table napkin holder and some straws for Anika.

This play tools set is for Anika's cousin Gabo.

Bookends for my blogging desk. I wonder if I can have this painted in red.

Cute storage box. I'm still thinking what to put inside. Lol.

Some red storage boxes again.

Cotton On dress at $10. Roughly Php 340

I also bought Alvin a Nike Golf polo shirt at the sports outlet stores. Mas mura lang ng slight, around Php 1,500 ang isa. Wowa also bought shirts for my brothers there as well.

There were so many on sale clothes especially at Cotton On. Yung mga shirts nila for girls and guys maganda at 3 for $29 ata iyon. We were also waiting for Uniqlo to open kaso their store open much later kaya di na namin ito na-antay on our last day. I shopped more at H&M and Ikea kasi those are the stores na wala pa here sa Manila.

For Anika, I didn't buy her clothes anymore because for a toddler, she has a lot already. Hindi na makatarungan. I just bought her a lot of toys. She enjoyed it more =)

Over all, Wowa and I enjoyed our trip. Kapos sa oras ang shopping pero okay na. Blessing in disguise na din siguro na I wasn't feeling well kasi imagine kung naka-kundisyon pa ako, wasakan at balibagan na talaga ng wallet ang ganap. Hahaha!

To you guys naman who are planning to go to the Grand Singapore Sale, here are my tips:

1. Book a hotel that's near the malls. It's easier to walk around.
2. Plan your itinerary well. Kulang sa oras ang one weekend to shop kaya plan it well. If you're shopping lang talaga, better to go at Orchard Road. Nandun na lahat ng malls that you need to go to.
3. Wear comfy clothes and shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking.
4. Make sure you have extra space in your suitcases for your shopping loots. Bring a hand carry suitcase kasi plus 5 kilos din yun.
5. Allot budget for the chocolates and pasalubongs. Kakain din yan ng moolah and suitcase space.
6. Shop na lang at the store sa wala pa sa Pinas. Mango, Zara, Cotton On etc were on sale also here in Manila kasabay ng GSS.
7. Take plenty of rest before going to the Great Singapore Sale para hindi lelembot lembot pagdating niyo dun. You will need all the energy you can get =)

Until next year guys!!!

  5. Mommy Fleur, the sales are better in Manila! Promise! Singapore is EXPENSIVE even if they go on sale. All those brands are here too! My sister who lives in Singapore comes home to Manila to shop. Kulang lang ng marketing ang Pilipinas. Spend all that money here na lang!
