Sunday is Love

Good morning guys!

How was your weekend? Ako masaya. I've told you about my crafty crafty Saturday. My Sunday naman was really nice too, yun lang na-aksidente si LT. I'll tell you more about that in a while.

Anika was supposed to have her swimming lessons with Zac yesterday morning. However, Zac's mom texted me that Zac woke up coughing so they can't go swimming. Even if Coach Manny was still going to the country club, we didn't go na lang din because Anika doesn't like swimming without Zac. Mag-a-arte arte lang yun dun. I think she just follows Coach Manny's instructions because ginagaya niya si Zac.

And so we just stayed home that morning and made Anika play piko hopscotch again. No iPad for that morning. Feeling ko kasi di na natututo ang mga bata maglaro ng games that we played when we were young. Yung tipong mga years na hindi pa uso ang internet, iPads at ang mga video games ay ang mga mayayaman lang ang nakaka-afford.

I hope you guys teach your kids how to play piko too. Next weekend, we'll play naman patintero siguro.

ANIKA: What's patinterow, Nanay?

Hanep. Parang sa America lumaki ang anak ko. Tsk.

After playing, it was super duper hot! Anika and I asked Alvin if he can set up the inflatable pool that Arnaiz gifted Anika with. Oo daw pero matuto daw kami mag-igib. Our hose was so short, it doesn't reach the pool so we had to fill up the pails and Alvin would transfer the water to the pool.

While the pail was filling up, Anika stood up to play while I stood up to go inside the house.

ALVIN: Hep! Hep! Saan kayong dalawa pupunta? Umupo kayo diyan! Tell me pagpuno na yung timba.

ME: Babe, ang boring. Ang tagal niyan.

ALVIN: Hindi. I'm going to teach you guys a lesson. You want to go swimming, pwes, mag-igib kayong dalawa. I'm going to teach you about patience. Diyan lang kayo.

Fine.

I'm totally not having fun. Obvious ba sa fez? Ewan ko lang diyan sa bagets ko

We stayed there for like one hour ata because it took so long to fill up the pool.

ALVIN: Ang laki kasi ng pool eh! Ano ba number ni Arnaiz? Itetext ko bakit ba pahirap yung regalo niya.

ME: Wag na. Ako nagsabi na ganyan ka-laki na pool yung iregalo niya eh.

ALVIN: Eh ikaw pala eh.

It was sulit though. Anika was so happy!

And the Nanay too! =D

Moving on, while Anika was having her afternoon nap after her swim, Toots called me. Nadulas daw si LT sa CR. He thinks she broke her arm. Puntahan ko daw sila dun.

When Alvin and I arrived at our family house,

ME (to Toots): Bakit ba hindi mo pa dinala agad sa hospital? Inantay mo pa kami?!

And then I saw the saklay of Toots, onga pala, pilay din pala etong isa.

We brought LT to Makati Med and here's her xray:

Ang sakit niyan, swear. LT's in a cast right now. They're going to decide today if she'll have it operated on.

I met pala my blog reader Tintin while we were at the ER. Bakit ba paghindi ako naka-ayos at mukha akong dugyot, dun ko kayo nakikita?! Pag-ayos na ayos naman ako, wala akong nami-meet sa inyo! Hahaha! Hi Tintin! It was nice meeting you yesterday! I hope your voice gets well soon =)

Anyways, after they put a cast on LT's wrist, we went home because Wowa said that she'll be cooking dinner for us. Sale kasi yung Savemore in Acacia Estates in Taguig. Ang dami na namang pinamili ni Wowa. 

Na-alala ko tuloy when Savemore opened last weekend. Wowa called me.

WOWA: Kunin mo nga anak yung mga binili ko sa inyong tuna. Ang dami dami eh. Di kasya sa ref ko.

ME: San mo binili? 

WOWA: Sa Savemore. Ang mumura nga eh. Yung mga alimango mas mura pa dun kaysa sa palengke. Inis na inis nga ako, nalingat lang ako saglit ubos na. Kunin mo na dito yung tuna.

ME: Hindi ko Ma makukuha ngayon. Blessing ng bahay na pinagawa sa amin ng Mama ni Alvin.

WOWA: Ano ka ba! Get this! Anong gagawin ko dito, ang dami?! Hindi kasya sa ref ko!

ME: Sukat ka ba naman bumili ng isang katutak na tuna eh. Bakit ba kasi ang dami mong binili?!

WOWA: Buy one, take one noh!!!

Ayown.

Hay naku so yesterday, Wowa brought the tuna, crabs and salmon to our house and had dinner there. Ang saya lang promise. For a change, wala kami sa mall. Tuwang tuwa especially si Sombrero because utang uta na daw siya sa mall. Wowa cooked the sinigang na salmon. Alvin cooked the butter garlic crabs and grilled tuna.

Anika entertained the family while waiting for the rice. Nakalimutan lutuin eh #anobayan. Pasensya na sa mga nakasampay na towels. Hindi ko na natanggal lol.

This was our dinner last night.

I love eating with the family =)

After dinner, we realized fiesta pala sa amin. Tamang tama pala yung kainan =) Later that night, we went to my friends house and met up with my childhood friends.
