Saturday Activity: Elin x CraftMNL

I had a fun Saturday afternoon.

Martina, one of the beautiful entrepreneurs behind Catalogue63, invited some mommy bloggers to a small get together for the launching of the brand Elin.

Elin is a Philippine made apparel brand with a collection of timeless and comfortable wardrobe essentials for women.

I checked out the clothes that they're selling. If you're like me who like to dress up comfortably pero fashionable pa din, Elin is perfect for you. Ang effortless kasi eh and the fabrics that they use are not only comfortable but also forgiving to the figure. Gusto natin yan mga muthers di ba? =)

Here are some of the pieces that I like:

This is the Terry Shirt. I wish they would make this in different colors because I shall make pakyaw. It's perfect for the office because it's comfy. I-tuck in lang sa slacks or wear it with jeans. Pagweekends, I can wear this with shorts naman.

The second one that I like is the Diane Dress. I hope they make this one in black too. This is perfect for the office also then put on more accessories for a night out after.

Third, this is their New Sydney in Gray Stripes shirt. Effortless din ang peg di ba?

Uyyy... oorder na ang mga yan! Hehehe! Ganda mga 'teh eh. It also helps that when you order, paying is very convenient. You can pay through GCash, BPI / BDO bank deposit and Paypal. It's perfect for busy women like us! Don't you agree?! =) No need to roam around the malls pagtoxic kayo to find nice clothes =)

Anyways, moving on, Elin partnered with Craft MNL and they held a workshop on how to upcycle old clothes into "new" ones or into fashion accessories.

Outfit of the day muna:

Kimono cover up: Stradivarius; White sando: Mango; Denim shorts: Guess; Wedges: Aldo; Bag: Tory Burch

I'm so loving my new Kimono Top from Stradivarius! Nakaka-donya!

Thank you Jackie and Chesca for taking my outfit of the day photos!

We all met at the Borough in Podium.

Marielle of Craft MNL was there to patiently teach us how to weave things to have new tops and accessories =)

The pretty Jackie modelling her creation.

The chubby faced me modelling the shirt that I created. Hindi ko pa madesisyunan kung ano ang pine-peg ko sa damit na ito. Lol!

Here's Jackie again, modelling Tin's creation. I love the top that Tin made. Talk about sexy back!

We had a lot of fun learning how to make old tops into new ones. Fun din kasi yung mga kasama ko eh. Like Jackie, harutan portion kami when we were making the clothes. Lol.

After that, we were taught how to make accessories from cut up fabrics.

This is how mine looked like. I wasn't able to finish it kasi mga 20 years pa before I got the hang of it.

Pero naman tingnan niyo, even when I was ordering at DQ at Makati Med kanina, career ko pa din yung bracelet =)

Kung bakit ako nasa Makati Med, I'll tell you about it later. Pero I'm happy to announce that I finished making the bracelet. Marielle would be very proud of me because I'm not a crafty person. It's relaxing kasi to make it eh =) Nakaka-enjoy.

Thank you Elin and Craft MNL for having us yesterday. We had so much fun and talagang I learned a lot =) Until next time!
