Are You A Simple Girl?

Divasoria and her friends were wondering what exactly do guys mean when they say about their dream girl, "I want her to be cute, nice and simple." 

What does simple really mean nga naman?!

What they did was they put together a list of what they think a simple girl is. They placed a rating beside each description. They called it The Simple Girl Index.   

I'll take the test and see if I'm maarte like what Alvin says I am. Hehe!

GOW!!

• Has long, straight, perfect “virgin” black hair, nary a stray hair in sight. (Plus 2)

--> 0! I had my hair rebonded already.

• If hair is in a ponytail, it is perfectly combed. (Plus 2)

--> I'm always in ponytail. And it's perfectly combed! 2!

• Eyebrows are not too thin but not too thick. (Plus 2)

--> Diba dapat naman?! 2!

• Only uses soap and water to wash her face. (Plus 2)

--> I use water and Likas Papaya for my skin. 2!

• If she uses moisturizer, it’s probably Pond’s cold cream. (Plus 2)

--> Syet. Akong ako ata itech! 2!

• Secretly uses whitening cream. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. It makes my face itchy! 0!

• Opts for the “no makeup” look: face powder (J&J/Clean & Clear or MAC studio fix) plus lip gloss. (Plus 2)

--> I also use cheek tint so I guess I get a 1.

• Gets a mani/pedi every week but will always asks for a French manicure. If not, it’s “colorless.” (Plus 2)

• Doesn’t like to accessorize except for giant pearl earrings (maybe an occasional Charriol bracelet). (Plus 2)

--> Parang ako lang pinaguusapan dito ah. But I'll rate myself 1 because I have tons of accessories at home that I don't use naman often except for the Charriol bracelet Alvin gave me.

• For special occasions, she will take out the single-strand pearl necklace. (Plus 2)

--> I use multiple strand necklace. 1.

• Technomarine is her watch of choice. (Plus 2)

--> Tomooooo! 2!

• For work, she likes to wear a 3/4th sleeve button-down shirt and black skirt/pants (nothing too tight or baggy). (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• For casual affairs, likes to wear the perfect white shirt (crewneck, ladies’ fit) and jeans. (Plus 2)

--> I'm into dresses. 0!

• On the weekends, likes to wear Lacoste pique polo and Bermuda shorts. (Plus 2)

--> Nah. This isn't me. 0!

• She has a collection of black pumps for work. (Plus 2)

--> I just have one pair of black pumps so I guess I score of 1.

• Prefers to wear Tory Burch reva ballet flats. (Plus 2)

--> Yup yup! I like! 2!

• If it’s not the reva flats, they usually prefer nondescript ballet flats or Havaianas flip flops on the weekends. (Plus 2)

--> Have you guys seen how much Havaianas I have?! It's embarrassing! 2!

• Loves her Longchamp Le Pliage or Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 or Neverfull (only in Monogram Canvas or Damier). (Plus 2)

--> Oh yes! This is me!! 2!

• Attaches her pocket anti-bacterial hand sanitizers to her bag handles. (Plus 2)

--> Since I am a mommy already, I do that na. 2!

• Her favorite perfume is anything from Bath and Body Works, Tommy Girl and/or Ralph Lauren Romance. (Plus 2)

--> I like Ralph Lauren Romance! 1!

• Her current favorite sport is running, it used to be badminton. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. Volleyball forever. 0!

• When unsure about what to order at a restaurant, she will always order carbonara and iced tea. (Plus 2)

--> Shet! This is really creepy! Akong ako talaga ito! 2!

• But she will always insist they should go to Cibo instead. (Plus 2)

--> I super duper love Cibo! 2!

• Went to the first-day screening of Sex and the City: The Movie with girl friends. (Plus 2)

--> I didn't watch it on the first day, but I wanted to! 1!

• Has seen the movie multiple times in the theater. (Plus 2)

--> I watch it several time in DVD. 1!

• Thinks she can relate to the SATC character Charlotte the most. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• Owns a small, hairy dog. (Plus 2)

--> Yup! I have Havi my Shih Tzu! 2!

• Always orders a non-fat latte or cappuccino at Starbucks. (Plus 2)

--> Nope I like it in full milk! 0!

• Follows Glee, Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives religiously. (Plus 2)

--> I love Gossip Girl. 0.5!

• Has Seasons 1-10 of Friends on DVD. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• She will always stop whatever she’s doing to watch The Notebook on HBO. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• Considers Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series her favorite books EVER. (Plus 2)

--> Oh yes!! 2!

• Openly admits to loving the Twilight series. (Plus 2)

--> Yes again! 2!

• Loved Eat, Pray, Love — the movie and the book. (Plus 2)

--> Nope! 0!

• Does not have opinions on controversial subjects like politics, religion, world affairs, etc. (Plus 2)

--> Ma-react ako sa mga ganyan Ateh. 0!

• Her musical taste is dictated by whatever Magic or RX radio plays. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• If she’s into rock music, she typically likes Coldplay or U2. (Plus 2)

--> I like both. 1!

• Shares a Facebook account with her husband or boyfriend. (Plus 2)

--> No! What's up with that though? 0!

• Has multiple “Tagaytay” or “Punta Fuego” albums on Facebook. (Plus 2)

--> Tagaytay medyo madami.. 1!

• Her Facebook profile photo is a jumping shot on the beach with her follow simple girl friends. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• Doesn’t find anything wrong with “wacky” shots and calls sticking out her tongue a “wacky” shot. (Plus 2)

--> I am actually bothered by that. 0!

• If she’s on Twitter, she follows Paulo Coelho or the Dailai Lama and retweets them a lot. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

• Likes to celebrate “monthsaries.” (Plus 2)

--> Hehe! Yuh! 2!

• Goes to all bazaars. (Plus 2)

--> With Wowa! Hence my preterm labor! Haha! 2!

• Sells on Multiply or Bazaars. (Plus2)

--> Nope. 0!

• Makes her husband/boyfriend carry her bag. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. Like Divasoria, I also think this should be banned. 0!

• Gives her daughter boy’s nicknames. (Plus 2)

--> Haha but nope! 0!

• Press Release: Only one boyfriend since birth and marries him. (Plus 2)

--> So really truly NOT me! Ummm negative 2?!

• Cannot relate to gay men (Plus 2)

--> I love beckys! Gusto ko magkabestfriend na becky!! 0!

• Occupation: Pre-school teacher. (Plus 2)

--> Nope. 0!

I got a score of  41.5. Complicated pa din pero not that arte. I'm closer to the simple girl range. Sabi ko na nga ba eh! =)
