Loots for Anika's Needs

Sometimes long weekends are not cool. Magastos!! Okay sana if dahil sa nice clothes and bags pero if you have a baby, for sure their needs ALWAYS will come first.

So anyways, last weekend was grocery time for us. I also needed to but some things for Anika (don't I always?!). We went to The Landmark and SM (we've got it all for you!!!). Here are some things we bought that I'd like to share to my mommy friends.

This Rafferty's Garden organic baby rice was the one I was telling you in my previous blog post. We fed this to Anika for her first ever solid food. Norie suggested MILUPA (there i got it right na! haha) but it wasn't available in The Landmark Supermarket so we got these instead.

We use this Chicco disinfectant for washing Anika's bottles and bottle nipples. It's cheap only around Php 300 for this big bottle. However, we needed something to wash Anika's plate and spoon. I asked the sales lady in SM if okay na ito gamitin. She said no. This is only for making babad the bottles, bottle nipples, pacifiers and baby toys. I asked Rain what she uses and she said Pigeon cleanser. I looked for it but it costs Php 600! Wala na daw sila nung refill na Php 300 lang.

So I bought this instead. It acts like a soap which you use to clean the food off the plate and spoon. Actually, pwede din ito for the bottles eh. You can even wash fruits and vegetables with this! And this only costs like Php 280+.

This one naman I bought in Watson's, one of my favorite stores. I felt we need this sa bathroom so that we can wash our hands agad when we arrive from work before carrying Anika. It's anti-bacterial and it smells so nice!

One quick Alvin kwento:

I was getting ready to sleep when Alvin came inside our room freshly washed. He laid down beside me and said:

ALVIN: Babe, ang ganda nung nabili mong soap ha! Parang ang linis linis ng face ko! May vitamin E pa siya!

ME: Babe! Hindi facial wash yun!!! Hand wash kaya yun! Di mo ba binasa?! Anti-bacterial pa nga yun eh!

ALVIN: Eh di maganda! Wala nang bacteria ang face ko!! =D

Ay sus! Kaloka!!

Ninang Faye bought this teether for Anika. Mommies can put it inside the refrigerator to cool it and can give it na to their babies. This can soothe babies gums kasi for sure, irate sila kasi nagdedevelop na teeth nila =) This teether contains distilled water (something like that) so it will be safe kahit mabutas siya =)
