North Park Double Date + Eclipse Movie = Perfect Saturday

Yesterday, Alvin and I were supposed to re-enact our highschool dates. Dinner at a fastfood restaurant and then movie after. So I reserved our Eclipse tickets online at Sureseats. I knew the ticket queue will be super long that day and I was soo right! With sureseats, I got our tickets in 5 minutes.

However, I learned through facebook that Alvin's cousin Katie and her boyfriend Paolo was in Makati also. They watched the afternoon screening of Eclipse. I am close to Alvin's cousins and I am in love with them all. I am particularly close to Katie because she was the one I kept in touch with during those times when Alvin & I had our significant others. So, I was so happy when makakapagdouble date kaming apat!.

Before we met, I was so hungry that I kept on changing my mind where to eat. I was choosing between Dad's Eat All You Can Merienda Buffet (for less than Php200 you'd have unlimited Filipino merienda and drinks) or Max's Eat All You Can Chicken (for Php 165 only) or North Park (a Chinese Restaurant).

Yeah, Im on a diet pero tomorrow na lang. Hahaha! I freaking need to diet i swear! Whenever I go out of Mango or Zara's dressing rooms, ang init ng ulo ko! (Im hot headed!) I look ugly in their clothes. Sa mannequin ang ganda then pagsinukat ko, it's ugly na! Kamote!

Anyways, positive thoughts! Food na lang! Haha!

We ate at North Park of Glorietta 5. It was sulit because we were all full and the bill was cheap! Here are what I ordered: (Ofcourse, over ordered na naman ako! We wasn't able to finish everything!)

We ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice plus an extra plain rice (baka mabitin!), Garlic Squid, Sweet and Sour Pork, Brocolli Flower (my favorite!), Pork Siomai and Lechon Macau (not pictured). We ordered fresh lemonade each and our total bill was Php 1,300 only (about 28 dollars)!! This is very cheap because the food was great, there was free hot tea and we were really full!

When you are in North Park, you should order the Fresh Lemonade, the restaurant's specialty. Super yummy and fresh!!!

Katie with Paolo her long time boyfriend. Super chikahan galore. Ang hina nga lang kumain nitong dalawa! Haha!

Me and Alvin, coincidentally both in black. Well Im often wearing black nowadays because nga Im fat. That's Alvin's favorite The North Face shirt. He loves it so much that I think he'll cry pagnasira sa laba or plancha yan hihihi!

Katie and I had this parang Mocha Bar in Bo's Coffee Shop which was just beside North Park. It costs Php 50 only. I like it. The brownie was moist and chewy and the light brown icing wasn't that sweet. Did you know that Bo's Coffee Shop originated in Cebu? A totally local coffee shop. I haven't tried their drinks yet but I'll let you know as soon as I do!

We particularly loved this place because of the free wifi. Even Alvin enjoyed it because of his new Nokia E71. Alvin's not that techie kasi and now lang siya namumulat sa joys of mobile internet kaya enjoy na enjoy ang lolo niyo! =)

That's me with Katie. I look so fat compared to her! She looks like Pia Guanio no? =) Hehe

After our dinner and dessert, Alvin and I said goodbye to Katie and Paolo because we were off to watch Eclipse at Glorietta 4. I would have preferred watching it in Greenbelt but they werent selling tickets online na anymore. Anyways, the movie theater was jampacked with Eclipse fans! I can say that this is the best Twilight movie so far. The dialogue and special effects were better. Jacob was so hot that when he was shown topless in full screen with his six pack abs, almost everyone inside the movie house screamed!! And who could forget when he told Edward inside the tent, "Admit it, we both know Im hotter than you!" Haha! Everyone was hooting and laughing!

All in all, i liked the Eclipse movie. I super looking forward for the next installments!!!
