Alvin and I will be celebrating our first year anniversary this September. Since I'm still new at work and couldn't afford to take a leave, we decided to go somewhere local for a weekend only. Good thing, our anniversary falls on a Sunday so we can take a flight early Saturday then return home late Sunday. Alvin's mom could just sleep over at our house that Saturday because I swear, I wont be able to enjoy the trip 'coz I'll be forever worrying about Anika not having a trusted grown up with her.

So, we took advantage of the low fares of Cebu Pacific. There wasn't much choice so I booked us a flight to Iloilo.

I know!! Why there?! The choices were Naga (which had a return flight of 4am Sunday), Coron (it's stupid to spend only overnight there. The place is too beautiful for a short stay), Bacolod (Alvin doesn't like) and Virac (I don't like). And so we booked it already. I have no idea what we'll gonna do there but definitely I will book us in the nicest hotel. I was planning to make tipid but we thought Iloilo na nga lang eh then overnight pa, might as well stay in a super nice place kasi anniversary naman namin eh. We deserve it.

So maybe next week, i'll start planning our itinerary for that weekend.

I'm so excited! Neome, my volleyball teammate, told me that it will never be the same again with me and Alvin after Anika arrives and she's so right! It's all about Anika nowadays and it's already affecting our relationship. Alvin & I can feel it na so we REALLY need this vacation. Just the two of us =)
