Budget to the max

I'm supposed to be writing blog entries now while Alvin's out playing basketball with his friends. It's our pact so that when he's here already, we should be spending time with each other and doing things together. That's part of our "preserving-the-romance-in-our-marriage" strategy.

Anyhow, instead of writing blogs (I actually already wrote down the topics I'd like to share with you), I started window internet shopping. I need want to buy so many things for Anika especially that next month, we'll start training her to eat solid food. Feeding spoons, cute big bibs, plates, food storage plus some organic chemical free mosquito repellants are all on my list. I was supposed to submit my order form already when I remembered, WE LOST OUR BPI DEBIT CARD LAST NIGHT! I dunno where.

Oh yes. Supposedly, that account is where we stock our savings. However, I mistakenly told Alvin to deposit the cash on hand we have there last Monday. And then last night, during dinner with my volleyball teammates, Alvin discovered that the card wasn't inside his wallet. I'm not pointing fingers here but IT'S REALLY ALVIN'S FAULT! Seriously. He misplaced it. He MISPLACED the card where we store our savings! I swear, I started palpitating when he told me! I immediately called the bank's hot line and had the card blocked. Thank God the last transaction was the deposit and no one tried using it!

So back to my dilema, we can only claim the new card by next week so we are relying on this other bank account of our with a teeny weeny amount in it until I get the new card and widraw the money Alvin deposited last Monday. So until that time, I have to budget everything within that teeny weeny amount and it's not easy because it's bills paying time in the Sombrero household! Sheeeesh!!!
