Singapore Trip Day 1: Departure and Hotel

Our Cebu Pacific flight for our Singapore trip was at 620am. I was already up by 230am because we had to pick up Wowa all the way from Taguig. Sa totoo lang and as expected, I wasn't able to sleep because I was so excited. I've always been like this. Nung bata ako pagfield trip namin, I swear I almost don't get to sleep at night sa ka-atatan. Eto pa kaya?! Wowa and I will be spending 3 days and 2 nights in Singapore and we'll do nothing but shop!!!

Excitedness to the highest levelz!

I was thinking nga eh. This is my first trip out of the country with just my mom. In short, special na special itey for me. Kasama nga siya sa bucket list ko eh. It couldn't be more perfect because this trip only entails shopping. It was our first Grand Singapore Sale experience. Coincidence? Hell, no. Tinaon ko talaga mga mudraks. Hehehe.

So going back to my kwento, I woke up not because of my alarm but because I fell off our bed. As in yung solid ha? Our bed's height reaches up to my waist so it's like 2.5 feet. Mataas din. Luckily, nasapo yung head ko nung nakabundle na comforter that was on the floor. Right after I slammed to the floor, I immediately thought, "Pag-ako may bali or something, mapipikon talaga ako ng sobra.". Alvin helped me up. He saw me fall eh. Nagising bigla diwa niya. I fell kasi I was sleeping on Alvin's side of the bed. Usually kasi I sleep between him and Anika pero that night Anika slept between us with me dun sa side na walang wall. Gulong galore ako kasi sanay ako na hindi nasa dulo.

Anyways, Alvin was asking if I broke anything. I slowly moved my arm and wrist. It hurt a little pero I didn't break anything. Ang masakit was my shoulder and my balakang. Hindot na yan. Pero keri. Nothing can stop me from shopping that weekend.

And so there, we got to the airport. Surprisingly, our suitcases were really big but were really light. Walang mga laman. Technique namin yan so that we can put all our shopping loots inside para hindi na magover baggage. Seryosohan ito mga bakla.

At the immigration, I was asked a lot of questions because I placed ENGINEER dun sa occupation. There are a lot of engineers kasi who go to Singapore as tourists then look for jobs there eh. Sabi ko naman I'm employed and I'll just go shopping there as SG. The immigration officer looked at me again. Mukha naman siguro ako hindi magT-TNT sa SG so he let me pass.

Tama na daldal ko and I'll show you na our photos.

I love that there's a breastfeeding section at the airport. *clap clap!*

My travel companions. I cannot go without bottled water and a book.

After 3 and a half hours, Wowa and I arrived at Changi Airport.

Kay ganda ng airport nila sa SG ano? I wonder when will that time come na sa atin ganyan din.

I booked ourselves at Orchard Hotel. I didn't want to go far anymore. I know that Orchard Road is the main shopping area in Singapore kaya dun na ako kumuha ng hotel. At least walking distance na lang.

I booked their Deluxe Room. Yun yung pinakamura eh. We got the "Claymore Special with 2 Breakfast and Internet" promo for SG$ 281 ++. I was so happy because they upgraded us to their Signature Club Deluxe Room. Ang bongga!!! I love room upgrades!

Here's Wowa checking in for us. We had to wait for an hour because there were no available rooms that time. We were told to go back by 12noon.

The hotel's nice naman. It's not that big pero okay na kasi we were just staying there to sleep. Hindi ko lang kinuha yung mga budget hotels kasi may donya akong kasama. Joke. Hahaha!

While waiting, Wowa and I decided to go out to look for a place to eat. However, it rained.

Kaya nagoutfit of the day muna akish.

Dress: Giordano Ladies (bought it on sale at Php 500), Fitflops and Tory Burch bag, Rayban
Wala kaming napala ni Wowa sa labas so we just ate at the Noodles Restaurant inside the Orchard Hotel. The chef made the noodles from scratch.

I don't eat noodles except when I'm sick pero this was good ha? Ang fresh.

At around 1230pm, we were given our rooms.

I wish it had bigger windows pero aside from that, ang ganda niya.

The bed was so comfy.

The bathroom had black Granite tiles for its walls and floors! Mahal yan.

I love bathtubs. I relaxed there before I slept during our second night. Lumublob ako sa hot water to relax my aching muscles from shopping.

There was also writing desk by the window.

There was a small couch.

Outside it was kinda creepy.

Oriental ang peg nung floor namin. That's our room door. Nasa bukana lang talaga.

While Wowa rested for a while, I went around to check out the place. They had this huge chess set.

This was the pool area.

Eto yung gym nila na napakalamig sa loob. I attempted to run sa threadmill kaso ang lamig talaga di ko keri. Pagod na pagod na ako tumakbo di pa din ako pawis! Tigilan ko nga.

Going back to the room, one more thing that I like about it is that they have a set mood lighting. Isang pindot mo lang, like pressing the goodnight switch, the blinds will close then dahan dahan nagsasara yung mga lights. Sa bathroom naman, when you switch the relax button, relaxing talaga ang effect nung magiging lights nila.

Astig right? =)

I recommend the Orchard Hotel in Singapore. It's very near the shopping area and the service is nice naman =)
