Alvin and I watched Superman last night at Resorts World Manila. Actually, we were supposed to watch World War Z because that was the movie that is being shown in the cinema with the lazy boy seats. There were no more available seats except the ones in the front row. Although I had apprehensions, I still got it kasi I was thinking, hindi naman sila maglalagay ng seats ng sobrang lapit na hindi na siya watchable di ba?
I was wrong.
Ateng, mahahalikan ko na yung movie screen sa lapit! The person distributing the popcorns also told us na tiyak daw na mahihilo kami because the movie has a lot of running scenes.
Ay, wag na.
Alvin and I went back to the ticket booth to replace the tickets.
ALVIN: Ate, sorry. Hindi namin na-expect na ganun pala talaga ka-lapit. Pwede palitan na lang namin yung tickets.
GIRL: Hindi na po kami tumatanggap ng pagpalit ng tickets.
Hep.
ME: Ate, hindi pwede kasi nagawa ko na yan before dito sa Resorts World.
GIRL (not looking at us): Hindi na nga po kami pumapayag ng ganun.
ME: Paki tawag yung manager niyo. Ako na lang ang mag-eexplain.
The girl took her sweet time in getting up on her seat.
Alvin and I waited patiently naman. We also said that since the World War Z tickets were more expensive, okay na if the don't refund the sobrang amount. Our fault naman eh.
Ang tagal.
ALVIN: Wag na lang kaya? Kasalanan naman natin yun eh.
ME: Kaso hindi talaga ako makakatagal ng ganun ka-lapit.
ALVIN: Eh di bili na lang tayo ng bagong tickets.
ME: Okay.
When the girl went out of the manager's office,
GIRL (still not looking at us): Akin na po. Papalitan ko yung tickets.
She looked really annoyed.
Deadmadela na lang because at least they agreed to exchange our tickets =)
The Man of Steel movie was ummm... not that nice for me. Di ko siya na-enjoy mga bakla. Sabi nga ni Alvin dapat daw yung title niya is hindi Man of Steel. Dapat daw Man of Destruction. Hahaha. Aminin niyo, they destroyed almost the whole city because of their fighting. As in balibagan dito, balibagan dun. Kaloka.
Also, san daw nabibili yung hair gel ni Superman, ask ng asawa ko. Hanep naman talaga diba? He dived underwater already and flew so fast pero ang hair, naku, not a strand out of place. Pak na pak!
Pero, mahal ko na siguro yung Superman na iyon. He's so hot! And the cleft chin ha? Haaaay!
Hahahaha!
Anyways, back to reality. Here's what I'm wearing to work today. Sulit na talaga this Stradivarius cover up that I bought.

Speaking of work, it's really quiet here. I remembered NBA finals pala. As in lahat ng men siguro ngayon nakatutok sa game. I called Alvin and found out na nakipagpustahan din siya sa championship game na ito.
ME: Babe, panalo na Miami.
ALVIN: Shet. Sige bye na.
ME: Bakit san ka pupunta?
ALVIN: Magtatago muna ako.
ALVIN: Magtatago muna ako.
Hahaha! Talo!
Kaya pala halfday halos lahat dito sa work ano? =))

Hi! Had a horrible 1st time experience at RW Cinema. Never going to watch a movie there again. Not worth the steep price of their tickets at all. Powerplant & Greenbelt cinemas have better seats & better customer service. The girl at the ticket counter messed up our seat numbers after we had to line up for 30mins. Then this snotty lady guard & attendant were telling people (including kids) that sleeping while waiting at the cinema lobby was strictly prohibited.
