A New Pair of Shoe + A New Book

Hi guys =)

We went to the Crayola event yesterday at Gymboree at Edsa Shangri La Mall. Yung naman ang mga sulit na puntahan na events on a Saturday afternoon. Anika had so much fun. I'll tell you more about it with photos on a different post.

Speaking of events, gusto ko lang i-share na sometimes, I feel like deciding na to blog full time already. I get so many emails a day to events. Kilig na kilig ako =) Minsan talaga eto pa yung mga gustong gusto ko na brands. Kaso of course, since I have a demanding day job, I can't go to all. Piling pili lang talaga the events that I go to. Di bale, I told Alvin that if I'm earning this certain amount na from blogging, I can be a Work-At-Home-Mom na =) Konti lang mga muthers... Konti na lang =p 

Speaking of blogging, I'm very happy that companies, brands and PR agencies are considering mommy bloggers as influencers. Dumadami sila who consider advertising in mommy blogs. Why nga naman hindi? For me, mommies are people who are very hard to please. Hindi basta basta magrerecommend ang mga yan. If a mommy endorses a certain product, you can be almost sure na maayos or maganda talaga siya especially if it's for the kids, family and herself. Also, the audience or readers of mommy bloggers are their kapwa mommies. May buying power. It make sense companies love mommy bloggers =)

Oo, I'm still nagtitipid for my SG trip. That fabulous pair isn't expensive at all! Ang lambot pa kamo sa paa. I got it from Yellowbird Shoes. 

Yellowbird shoes is owned by my fellow SoMom, Patty of Non Stop Babble. I was making chika with her yesterday at the Crayola event. I was telling her that the shoes are amazing kasi (1) it's fabulous with all the glitter-- as in magshades ka kasi pagtinamaan ng araw ang sapatos mo, literally kikintab and (2) it's super comfy even with that transparent plastic. Patty told me na siyempre daw kasi before she sold it, she made a prototype at talagang nilakad lakad niya muna itey. She wanted to be super sure that it comfy before she sells it. Galing di ba?

Anyways, yesterday, wala talaga akong kabalak balak gumastos kahapon. However, on our way to the car from the event, we passed by Powerbooks. I felt parang may magnet pulling me inside the bookstore. That happens to me all the time. God, I love bookstores. I can stay there all day. I bought the Revenge Wears Prada book. Continuation yan ng The Devil Wears Prada.
