The Wedding Reception

The wedding reception of Apple and Jonathan was held somewhere in Tagaytay. I will not name the place nor the caterer because.. basta. Ayoko. Wag na kayo dun and wag niyo sila kunin.

Bakit kamo? Sino naman ang matutuwa sa ganito?!

I was going around checking the stuff needed in the reception program. I noticed na ang laman lang ng wedding cake table ay yung wedding cake topper. Walang wedding cake.

ME: Hey (insert caterer's name here)! Where is the wedding cake?

CATERER: Coming na po.

ME: What do you mean coming na? We're about to start and we'll be cutting the cake na pagpasok ng mag-asawa.

CATERER: Padating na po ang cake. Hindi niyo naman sinabi sa akin na sa umpisa gagamitin yung cake.

WTF?!

Wrong answer.

Gusto ko talaga siyang sabunutan.

Quesihodang start or middle or end ko gagamitin ang wedding cake, dapat kanina pang tanghali yan nandito! Anong klase yan?! Imagine naman a wedding reception without a wedding cake?! Diba?!?!?!?

Hay. Good thing the newlyweds were so giddy with excitement with each other to notice. Making deadma the caterer for the rest of the night, I thoroughly enjoyed the wedding reception because (1) I saw Apple and Jonathan so happy that night, (2) the people from Amsterdam who flew all the way here in Manila were a joy to party with (3) the photobooth was unlimited, (4) the groom sexy danced his way to the get the bride's garter inside her wedding gown skirt and (5) the mother of the bride's speech made us all cry. Mind you, not teary eyed but as in big, fat tears were flowing down my cheeks. It was so touching grabe.

Here are some photos from the event:

Bagay sa akin ang glasses noh? =)

"Enough of the picture taking guys!!!"

Ofcourse, magpapahuli ba ang dalawa?!

The wedding cake. Finally. Sorry, di ko talaga mapigilan. The couple ordered a fondant wedding cake. Mukha bang fondant itech?!

Buti na lang ang pretty ng cake topper from Holland =)

The place was designed by LT. They bought these Japanese lanterns in Divisoria and also got the cherry blossom flowers and branches from there =) Nice finds no?

At last, a photo op with the dear hubby =)
