How To Make Your Own Mashed Potatoes

.. if you do not know how to cook like me!

Faye has been nagging me to try to cook her recipe for mashed potatoes. She cooked it one time and it was the best tasting mashed potatoes I have ever tasted. So last Sunday, eto na, triny ko.

Aside from the potatoes, these are what you'll need


First, boil the potatoes until pumuputok na daw ang skin so that it will be super soft already. Mash it like there's no tomorrow.


Next, get a bar of butter like this:


Then mash it together with the potatoes. It is best if the potatoes are hot pa so that the butter will melt na lang. You can be the one to decide how much butter you want to put. How buttery your mashed potatoes will be is up to you =)

Next, get the all purpose cream (there's a low fat cream if you want use it)


And put some in the bowl. Again, how creamy your mashed potatoes can be up to you.


Mix the grated cheese in then add a dash of pepper and salt to taste then ola!!!

Delicious creamy mashed potatoes!
We paired it with chicken marinated in chicken breading that made it super crispy. Yummy!!!

For garlic lovers like me, I saute some garlic in butter and add it to boiled and peeled potatoes (with skin sometimes, its the tamad way..just make sure the potatoes are scrubbed clean) with some fresh milk, butter and 1/2 or 1/4 of a beef broth cube. Its not so healthy, but it tastes pretty good with steak! :)
