Does It Ever Happen To You?

When I get really excited about something, sa malamang yan, either it will be postponed or worse, will not push through anymore.

Remember I told you last Monday that I'm so excited that Papa's coming to Manila for Apple's wedding tomorrow in Tagaytay? Ayun. He wasn't able to get flights to Manila last Monday. He called me up Monday night. Grogging groggy ako because I was already sleeping.

PAPA: Princess, hindi ako nakasakay.

ME: Huh! Bakit?

PAPA: Why is your voice like that? May sakit ka ba?

ME: Hindi po. I was already sleeping.

PAPA: Puno ang flight kanina eh. I'll try again tomorrow. By the way Princess, I cannot open the file of the photos of the clothes that you want me to buy for Anika. Can you send it again?

ME: Huh? Pa, kahit wag na lang po. Okay lang.

PAPA: Hindi hindi. Sige na. Wala ka bang internet diyan? Isend mo na.

ME (suddenly perking up): Ay Pa! I blogged about it. Tingnan mo na lang sa blog ko!

PAPA: Okay sige bye.

So Papa didn't arrive yesterday as expected. On the way here to the office kanina, I was so giddy because Papa will be arriving today. Kaso lang, I got an email from him 10 minutes ago that he wasn't able to get a freaking flight! Again! He'll try daw ulit today and arrive tomorrow. Teh, tomorrow na ang kasal! He's one of the godparents pa. Nakakalerky! Hopefully the KLM flight to Manila will not be full tomorrow. He's using kasi his PAL inter-airline benefits kasi eh kaya hindi siya bookable. Hay!

Oo, tama. Ang cucute ng clothes! And Oo tama, hinanap ko din ang Longchamp bag dito sa photo! Lol!

He was able to buy my requests and more! Bonggels na bonggels!! Buti na lang talaga konting kibot kwento ako dito sa blog noh? Sometimes, napapakinabangan ko din! =)

So now, I won't get excited na. I think that's the jinx why Papa can't get a flight eh. Deadma to the world muna. And pray. We've been looking forward to this wedding and out of town trip for months! Sana makauwi siya tomorrow morning then sabay na sa amin to Tagaytay.

Speaking of Apple's wedding, you should have seen our family house last night! I went there to give LT and Faye the checklist for the wedding because they will be going there na today (kami nina Alvin and Anika tomorrow pa). Grabe our house! Punong puno ng cherry blossoms, gowns, guestbook at kung ano anong kachurvahan for the wedding.

ME: Tita, di niyo naman kinareer ang DIY sa wedding ni Apple no? =) Hahaha!

Ang dami ko nang utang sa inyo! (1) Vivian's glam baby shower, (2) Anika's gymboree experience, (3) Faye's birthday party [diyosme, guess kung sinong married politician-celebrity ang nagdrop by to give flowers to someone at the party?! Very Fashion Pulis material!] (4) mga outfits of the day and ofcourse (5) my ratings of the hotel in Tagaytay where we'll be staying and (6) Apple and Jonathan's wedding!
