Counting Papa's Pasalubong Before He Arrives

I'm so excited! My dad's arriving tomorrow from Amsterdam!! I can't wait for him to see Anika now. The last time he saw Anika, hindi pa naglalakad ang bagets. Ngayon, maghahabulan na silang dalawang maglolo! =D

I also took this opportunity to ask my dad if she can buy Anika clothes from Zara because it's cheaper there. It's also a plus na sale din ang Zara dun! I hope he was able to get my email of these photos yesterday. He's leaving na kasi today and his ETA in Manila is tomorrow at 9am. Ganyan kami ni Papa. If I want him to buy something for me there, I'll get the photo and the reference number from the website then I'll send it to him. It's nice that now given mommy na ako, hindi pa din nagbago yun except that he's buying na for his first apo this time.

Here are the things I hope he'd get (photos from the Zara website) Anika:

I wanted to include sana sa email ko kay Papa my wishlist sa Longchamp. Eto talaga mga bakla, mura talaga Longchamp dun. The plain Le Pliage costs (if I'm not mistaken) around Php 3k-5k lang. Mura diba?! How much do they sell it here? 7k?  That's why I don't want to buy a Le Pliage dito sa atin. Ang laki naman ng patong. Or tax yun? Whatever.

Mommy will be coming to get you!

Here are the bags that I like taken from the Longchamp website :

Speaking of pasalubongs, for sure, Papa will be bringing the boxes and boxes of flavored teas for me. Nakabili na nga daw siya eh. I love their teas especially the berry flavored ones! Mmmm! I also requested him to buy the salt-less pretzels that Anika is beginning to love. Of course giant wurst (sausages) will fill our fridges again. My brother requests that from Papa all the time. Tapos iuulam niya yan everyday for a week. Kaloka. And let us not forget the chocolates! *diet? what diet?* Papa buys the hazelnut and the milk chocolate ones with almonds. Always the same brand. Shucks! Truffles nga pala! Hindi ko nasabi! *slaps my forehead!*

But you know, apart from all these, pasalubongs or no pasalubong, I am just happy and excited to see my dad. He goes home at most twice a year na lang unlike when he was still with PAL, kahit every other week nandito siya sa Manila. I miss him sooo much!!

If only I don't have that business seminar again tomorrow and I don't have to file a leave on Friday because of the wedding, aabsent ulit ako bukas to spend the whole day with him! =)

Osha, isang tulog na lang!!!

P.S.

We'll be attending the wedding of Apple and Jonathan in Tagaytay this weekend. More than 30 people went home to Manila from Amsterdam for that event! I promise to post a blog about it right after! =)

  1. i agree, get a longchamp!! a very practical, low-maintenance, and spacious bag (especially the large size). i saw some sellers in shoppesville greenhills selling the large size/long handled bags for P3500 (authentic ha!!). but you have to be careful kasi marami rin nagbebenta ng replicas dun.

  2. Pati Zara sobrang mahal dito. That's why I try to buy local as much as I can. Pag kasya kase ang lake kong babae. Hahaha.

  3. @browneyedgirl: Teh ano ba ang name mo para maaddress kita sa name mo hehe! Ang hirap din kasi sometimes to identify kung original yung longchamp diba? Kaya dapat talaga yung kilala mo na totoo yung binebenta. Longchamp's the bag of the "simple girl" complete with the hand sanitizer! =)

@Rone: Yea, expensive talaga kaya nagaantay ako lagi ng sale =) It's good that we have great local brands. And, hindi ka kaya malaking babae! =)
