My Supposedly Hectic Saturday

It was raining ng bonggang bongga last Saturday. PAGASA said that the weather will be better on that day so I assumed all of my scheduled lakad will be pushing through that day. I went first to Rone's Self Branding Talk in Makati. When I went there, parang ghost town. The people in the lobby told me that there were no people upstairs. I thought, "wala namang nagsabi na postponed eh." And then I literally smacked my head because for sure, they sent an email that morning which I didn't get to read! True enough, Rone sent an email that morning that the talk is postponed to another day. Sheeeshhh.. I should have checked my email first.

Anyways, I was meeting my friends at 2pm pa so I called everybody to push the meeting up to 12pm. Ako lang pala ang inaantay nila hahaha! I had my haircut first while waiting for them then we had lunch at Mary Grace in Greenbelt 2.

It was so homey and perfect for our girl bonding.

After lunch, I literally forced them for an outfit photo. Ang daming side comments but they do love me very much so they agreed. Basta group picture daw. Amp.

Here are my good friends from high school at CSA. Pineda and Vivian are preggy and si Arnaiz lang diyan ang wala pang anak. 

 They didn't want to pose individually so I set an example.

"See? Hindi naman nakakahiya diba?!"

Still they didn't want to but I made them chikka until we arrived at Dulcinea in Greenbelt 1 where we were meeting Wowa. Eh di nagpasimple na lang ako.. Before they knew it, I have individual outfit photos of them! Award!!! =)

Pineda, who's 6 months preggy here and who's going to launch a very exciting business soon, is a great photographer. She did my prenup photo shoot here.

Vivian's seven months pregnant here. She's a lawyer, a very good one. She landed in the top ten of the bar exams. =)

Bing's the sexiest of us all. Mowdel ang dating ng mommy na itech.

Aside from our husband, Arnaiz is our protector. She is extremely protective of her friends. Eto ang Gabriela Silang sa amin. Don't mess with any of us if you don't want to mess with her =)

After so many years from grade school, this is the first time we saw Alyssa again. Wala kasi siyang Facebook. Period.
Outfit: Top from Zara, shorts from Greenhills, Anthology shoes, Burberry belt and Marc Jacobs bag (which I really, really love!)

I met up with Wowa because we were supposed to go to the I'm Shoe In Love bazaar at the Fort. Bing and Pineda went with us. However, when we arrived at the NBC tent, the bazaar's postponed pala. Bwiset. I was really looking forward to new shoes!

So Bing had herself dropped off at High Street and Pineda and I went back to Greenbelt to call everyone back. Arnaiz gonna watch an afternoon movie with her boyfriend. Vivian was just roaming around so we to the kids' floor of Greenbelt 5. Para lang kaming 3 buntis. Except that I have given birth one year and two months ago. I really do have to start exercising.

Anyways, the preggy girls got hungry so we went to Cibo for merienda.

Vivian got this bread with spinach dip. This is one of my favorites in Cibo.

I got my favorite Tiramisu cake. Tomorrow na ako magstart ulit ng diet.

Pineda got this squid pasta which was delicious but made our mouths black. Hihi.

Even if one out of my three lakads lang ang natuloy, I had a blast last Saturday with my bestfriends. We seldom see each other pero sulit talaga the time when I'm with them.
