My Henri Calayag Salon Experience

Last Saturday, I had my haircut while waiting for my friends to arrive for our lunch. I was supposed to go to Toni & Guy like I used to but Garon wasn't available until 1230pm that day. Eh may lunch date ako.

So I decided to try the Henri Calayag salon in Greenbelt. I asked if Henri was available but I was told that he had appointments with other clients that day. Buti na lang din mga ateh. Php 1,200 ang fee niya. Di ko keri yun because tagtipid mode ako nowadays.

Danny Valdezco who's a senior stylist in that salon, was recommended to me. He's so nice. He even offered to take photos of the before and after me.

This is my before hair. It's long and limp. Walang ka style style.

Divah?!

This was what I wore that day. Dress from The Ramp, my glittery flats from Red Herring and my bracelets from ALDO.

This is their salon.

Nakita ni Danny I was taking photos of myself so he offered to take one of me. Super down to earth sila dun.

I was given two drinks because I wanted hot tea supposedly kaso there's been a mix up ata with them. So they generously gave me two drinks =)

Chuchal ang mga magazines nila ditech!
I wanted to maintain the length of my hair pero I wanted it to have style. Ang boring na kasi eh. And also, I asked if I can have bangs. Alam ko namang hindi pwede because of my "puyo" but Danny let me try it.

After cutting, we realized na hindi talaga pala pwede ang bangs sa akin. Kaya he tried parting my hair in the middle na lang.

My new hair, freshly blow dried. It's not like that na anymore today but I like it better. At least, now it has style, unlike before na limp lang.
While paying, Php 800 for a senior stylist, I saw Henri Calayag. I asked the one in the front desk if I can have a photo with him. And then he went, "Alika nga dito! Bat ka pa nagpapaalam?". He was so down to earth and nice. He told me next time I should have my hair cut by him. I said yes. Pagiipunan ko. Hehe.

I enjoyed my experience with Henri Calayag's salon. You will really feel pampered. I just wish that they'll use a more scented shampoo and conditioner like that of Toni and Guy or Regines. Di masyado bumango hair ko eh. But over all, I recommend them =)
