Anika's Left Handed, I Think.

As I have mentioned in my earlier posts, Anika is being tutored by my cousin, Faye. Yup at one year and two months. I believe it's never too early to start teaching them, don't you think?

Anyways, Faye graduated with a degree of Early Childhood Education at DLSU. How swerte can I get diba? =) Faye tutors Anika at least 3x a week. She goes to our house and locks herself and Anika in our room. As per Faye, when she enters the room, Anika immediately sits down on our bed waiting to be told what to do for that day. Very well behaved daw talaga. Opposite na opposite pagnandun kami ng Tatay niya. Ang arte! She whines a lot while Faye teaches her. Pero pagsila lang daw dalawa ni Faye, obedient siya. Cool! =)

They do educational games, read books, watch vocabulary videos, draw and play.

One time from work, inabutan namin sila. Anika was trying to "color".

Dumadapa-dapa pa ang bagets!
Notice that she uses her left hand? Kaliwete ata anak ko. I have to research on that.

I'm so proud because she knows how to hold na the pen =)
She loves to draw on and to color images that Faye draws. Pero it's not always like that. She also eats the pen. Sometime she uses the pen as a drumstick and her head as the drum. Tuwang tuwa naman. With guidance (ofcourse), we let her be. The important thing is that she's learning while enjoying what she does.

There are better photos in my FB where Faye tagged me. I'll find a way to save it so that I can show them to you =)

How 'bout you mommies, how do you teach your kids? =)
