When we entered the Rockwell Tent last Sunday for the Urban Bazaar, the first stall that greeted us was the V&M Naturals. Like I said in my previous posts, my mom is such a sucker for beauty products so she checked this out immediately.

The sisters Justin and Jaime Tan that they use EMU Oil in their products. For your information, I have posted here something about EMU Oil which I got from their multiply site.

EMU OIL
Emu oil is an oil made from the refined fat of the Emu, a bird native to Australia. It has been used for a thousand of years for the treatment of burns, wounds and bruises. It has also been used as a pain reliever for bone, muscle and joint orders. It is used to soften the skin while making it 2.5 times thicker and stronger, (thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles!) and is frequently found in ointments for dry cracked heels. It is considered to be the "it" ingredient in beauty products, such as natural analgesics, non-surgical facelifts and wrinkle removers because it is the only natural oil that penetrates the skin the fastest.

Emu oil has has been shown in studies to aid in reducing scar formation in healed burn wounds, muscle sprains and arthritis due to its strong anti-inflammatory properties. Us mommies have this what I call "battle scars" from pregnancy and giving birth. Major stretch marks all over, dark areas and chicken skins to name a few. We bought the concentrated EMU Oil because I really want to be able to wear a two piece bikini again someday and it would not be nice if everybody could see all my stretch marks. EMU Oil is easily absorbed by the skin therefore that adds to it effectivity.

We got the Mentholated Mango Mandarin Dash and so far I am enjoying this. I use this cream with the Emu Oil. I make pahid the Emu Oil first then put this cream on it. I like its scent too! It doesn't become greasy on skin and it's so light, you won't notice that you have it on! I put it on my stretch marks, singit, underarms and elbows.

Mama bought a big tub (300g) at Php 580 and a smaller tub (100g) for me at Php 225.

My husband, the anti-beauty routine thing was like this:

ALVIN: Babe, ano na naman yang nilalagay mo sa katawan?!

ME: Pampaputi.

ALVIN: Eh maputi ka na naman eh.

ME: Dun to babe sa mga hidden places para pagnagtwo piece ako, winner ulit.

ALVIN: Two piece, two piece! Maputi nga mga singit mo e pano naman 'to? (jiggles my bilbils)

ME: Agaw trip ka babe! Che!

Anyways, back to the topic. If my mom loves creams, I have naman a soft spot for lipsticks, lip shimmer, lip gloss etc. Kaya I was drawn to this tube for my lips.

The EMU LIP DETOX. According to their site, Venus and Mars Smooch lip butter balm will surely deeply penetrate the skin cells to hydrate and moisturize the lips. It contains emu oil, avocado butter, avocado oils, coconut oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, jojoba wax, peppermint essential oils, beeswax and vitamin E oil.

Girls, I swear by this product! I have been using this lip balm since Sunday and super effective nga siya! After putting it on, there's a minty feel to it and I can almost feel my lips getting thicker. When I looked in the mirror, I loved what I saw! It looks so natural! You know how you're lips are after making out? Ganun! But with more moisture! And it stays ha? So far, I'm loving this. It's much better (and cheaper) than the one I bought at Kiehl's.

I bought one for Php 170.

OTHER STUFF
