Make Up For Dummies

...or para sa mga tamad lang talaga...

I am a self confessed kikay but surprisingly, I do not like putting make up on. I am too lazy. If ever I have to put do so, I do not want to put too much. Ayoko nga masabihan ng mukhang espasol yung mukha. Or masabihan ng "Foundation day ateh?". Diba?

So for my everyday face, I discovered these simple make ups that I slap on my face in the car en route to work. Here they are:

The Maybelline Minerals Liquid Foundation. I strongly suggest buying mineral make up because they are healthy for the skin. It helps also that it's SPF 18, a level of sunblock which you need even if you do not go out under the sun. Do you know that even light bulbs radiate harmful ultraviolent rays?

I like this foundation because it's light on the face and so very easy to apply. Plus, cheap pa siya!

I also sometimes use this Maybelline BB cream. Shen's Addiction made a super informative review about this product. You can read it in her website, just click the link.

I like this BB cream because it acts like a foundation which covers imperfections, moisturizes, protects and evens skin tone. It's even SPF 26. What also nice about this product is that it has just one shade for all kinds of skin tones. It's light also when applied on the face. It doesn't clog pores and hindi siya nagbubuo-buo. And mura lang din yan. Less than 300 pesos, if I remember correctly.

After I put on the foundation, I powder my face with Maybelline Shine Free Powder Foundation. You just have to take it easy when applying this on top of the foundation para hindi matakot ang mga officemates mo sayo when they see you in the morning. 

The combination of the foundation and this powder can last the 12 hours that you are at work. If you just need to, you can re-apply na lang the face powder. It costs Php 300 only.

I use naman The Face Shop's blush for my cheeks. I use this super cute blush brush that I bought in a bazaar last December 2009. You just have to choose the right shade for you and natural ang finish nito. 

For the lips, I use the V&M Naturals lipgloss that I talked about here. This has no color of its own but when you apply it to your lips, super natural ang dating. Parang freshly kissed ang lips niyo. 

If I really need to put lipstick on, I put on this Berry Blush Clinique Lipstick.

This routine will take you less than 5 minutes. Super perfect for the lazy girls (like me!) out there who wants to look pretty in a less hassle way.

PS. Do not forget girls, no matter how much makeup you put on your face but your skin is not healthy, bale wala. Loss pa din ang hitsura niyo. Remember to wash your face daily and go to that monthly facials that you do. For me, I use only Likas Papaya for my face. Hiyang eh. No pimple breakouts when I use that. I don't do facials anymore because a.) tamad ako and b.) kuripot ako.

Mabuhay ang mga kikay na kuripot!!!
