My New Happy Place: Mandaue Foam Furniture Showroom

Our new landlady got hospitalized the week before we transferred house. We were only corresponding through text. She told me that we can already start moving in by September 15. Akala ko Sunday ang September 15, Sabado pala. Had I known, hindi sana kami ng lipat-bahay-cramming ng ganun kahapon.

Kamote.

Although! Although! I am still glad that happened because if not, we weren't able to go to Mandaue Foam's Furniture Showroom in Las Pinas City.

Konting kwento muna.

My brother-in-law and his wife recently transferred to a new house. My bilas and I were talking. Teka baka you don't know what bilas means. Bilas is the wife of your brother-in-law. I just don't know if it's the same with the husband of your sister-in-law. Anyways, she was saying that they were not rushing to buy a sofa for their new house because they want to find the one that they really like talaga. A few weeks after that conversation, we discovered that we were also moving to a new house. Dun pumasok ang Mandaue Foam. A lot of my mommy blogger friends were talking about it in Twitter already. I wanted to check out the store before pa pero I was scared that I would buy something and wala na talagang mapaglagyan sa old apartment namin.

And so when I knew that we were transferring houses, I immediately set a date with my BIL and bilas to go to Mandaue Foam. However, my bilas told me that they were going earlier na. So okay lang. After their trip there, I made them kamusta. Grabe, they bought na the sofa that they saw there! Tuwang tuwa!

BILAS: Ate Nana, we bought na the sofa. Nice yung foam and quality. Malayo (ang quality) sa (toot!).

Ay, na-atat talaga ako ng bongga.

So that Saturday, quesihodang mega traffic, Alvin and I went to Mandaue Foam Furniture Showroom in Las Pinas City. It's very near SM Southmall.

Tadaaaaa....

When I entered, grabe, I palpitated! There were so many nice things! I checked immediately the price tags (aba siyempre) and found that they were affordable! Take note ha? High quality at a very reasonable price. Wow na wow! I really felt that I found my new happy place talaga!

ALVIN: Babe, relax ka lang. Hinga.

Kitang kita ata sa fez ko ang excitement. Either that or my husband knows me really well =)

Anyways, upon entry, I saw this fantastic dining showcase. If budget was not a concern, I would buy everything that was in this display. I super like it!

All the while I thought Mandaue Foam only sells bed foams. Kaya nga foam di ba? But nooo.. They also have these really pretty house display items.

I like this dining set. Maybe this Christmas? Crossing fingers.

There were a lot of sofas to choose from. I tried sitting on it and my bilas was right. Iba ang feeling compared to those sold in other stores.

They also had night stands, vanity tables and closet drawers.

Ah, eto na ang mattresses nila. We are going back to buy a mattress for the bed of Jekjek and Girlie. Teka, buy one take one pala noon! Shucks! I should have bought na! Hopefully, maabutan pa namin ito this weekend =)

Tables galore.

I loved looking at their set-ups.

This dining room set up gave me a perfect idea for our dining area at home. I'm gonna buy those orange chairs!

I shall return also for these pillows!

The Mandaue Foam Furniture Showroom has three floors filled with all the things you would need for your house =) Happy place na happy place ang peg right?

They have a lot of dining sets in different sizes and shapes to choose from.

Ohhhh.. I'm also so loving this set up. I told you I like so many things! Litong lito na ang house namin! Hahaha! Help!

Finally after going around the whole store thrice, we decided to have a two seater sofa custom made! I asked how much it was and I was really happy that it wasn't expensive!

Here are some of the fabrics I chose from. Imagine kung gaano kami katagal dito ni Alvin. I was so indecisive! But I thank Julius of Mandaue Foam for assisting me. He was so fabulous! Thanks also to Paul, the store manager for being very patient with me. Lol! I'm so excited for our new sofa!

This is the custom made churva section
While waiting to pay for our purchases, I saw this bedroom set up display. Nice ano? Ang bongga nung yellow round lamps!

After going to Mandaue Foam, Alvin and I went around the nearby furniture shops too. We got to compare the stuff they sell. Iba talaga at Madaue Foam. It's affordable without compromising the quality. I highly recommend this store to you guys! Good news is that they have 17 branches nationwide!!! You can see it HERE (click the link!).

We are definitely going back. I have so many things to buy pa! =) Hope to bump into one of you guys there soon! =)

Laters baby!

  4. ako rin noong nagpunta kmi ni julius para mag usyoso sa sale nila last sept 9, na-excite sa mga nakita. delayed na nga blog post ko about the sale e. =(

anyway, i got a patio set na dating Php 7,500 na naging Php 6,000 na lang!

marami talagang maganda dyan. i like yung mga pillow cases, table top accessories, modern chairs, patio sets yang featured mo na white shelf unit.

mandaue foam is alot better talaga pagdating sa workmanship kesa dun sa famous home store. ;)

  7. Ohhh how pretty!!! I loved looking at your pictures, ang ganda sobra ng furniture. I'm looking for a chest of drawers now and those in one of your pics are really pretty. I also wanna buy a bookshelf for my kids. I wonder how are the prices, are they comparable to Our Home or SM Homeworld?

  10. We bought our sofa set from their sale :) . The Las Pinas branch is way bigger than their Ortigas Ext. branch (that's where we shopped).

  11. Hi mommy fleur. We also bought our sofa and dining set at Mandaue Foam (QC branch) for our apartment - on sale. Really stylish and affordable ang mga tinda nila. Don't forget to ask them when their next sale would be. If you can wait a bit, hintayin mo na lang kse sometimes they slash the prices really almost 50% na =)
