Last Friday, Alvin and I were supposed to have our date night. However, when I called him to iron out the plans..
ME: Babe, watch na lang tayo movie tonight.
ALVIN: Babe, ano kasi eh. Um. May kailangan akong ilabas na tao from blah blah. May ididiscuss kasi kami about blah blah blah.
ME: What?! It's a Friday night! Wala ka na talagang oras sa akin! Dapat magdate tayo every week para magspend time.
ME: Okay.
Ang dali kausap amp. Hahaha!
And off to Makati I went. I had all the intentions of buying stuff for myself. Madami na kasi din kami nabili for Anika eh. However, at the end of that night, I noticed that all my purchases were for Anika.
Buhay Nanay nga naman o!
I bought Anika shirts with sleeves. We realized that Anika has only two T-shirts. Lahat na are either sleeveless or spaghetti strapped.
Good thing Mossimo was on sale. All these shirts were only Php 245 (around that value) each.
F&X was also on sale. I got this Mickey Mouse shirt for less than Php 300
This F&X jacket was originally priced at Php 999. I got it for like Php 199 only =) Winner. Never mind that it's for four years old. I'll keep it so that Anika can wear it two years from now. Lol.
I have also been looking for a pair of slippers for Anika. Her size in Havaianas is alanganin. She's in between sizes kasi. Good thing I found these uber cute slippers at F&X. 'Twas on sale for less than Php 200, I think.
I am very particular about Anika shoes. Someone told me kasi before that the toddlers feet are still developing. The shoes that we buy for them should have the right fit to prevent future adult foot problems. This is why I rely on Stride Rite. I got this black pair on sale. It costs Php 900+ na lang =)
What can I do?! Nanay ako eh.
I'm sure you all mothers out there agree with me =)
Super agree! can definitely relate to this. Kahit nung may work pa ako, when I buy things, I buy mostly for my kids kahit na first intention ko is to buy something for myself. Those are pretty things you bought for your daughter.:) xoxo
ReplyDeleteRetail therapy! SO true, even after going around the mall for hours, I come home na puro stuff lang ng anak ko and ni hubby nabibili ko.
ReplyDeletehahahahaha!!! so armalite ang peg then biglang madaling kausap. hahaha! i love that about you... as in... i guess tayong mga mothers, okay lang if "kinda last" ang mga sarili sa lists wag lang mga anak... and to be honest ako din katulad mo. hahaha!
ReplyDeleteBaka kaya napagalitan ka ni Mr. Sombrero kasi di mo sya nabilhan...choz lang :)) me too super nakakarelate.
