Cutting Food Exercise for Anika

I'm always curious when Faye says that she'll buy a toy for Anika. Palibhasa preschool teacher, I always assume that she will get Anika something that could develop her mental, emotional or intellectual churvaness. 

One night after work, I met up with Faye. She wants to buy daw Anika something. We went to this store in Greenbelt 5 that sells really nice educational wooded toys. I forgot the name but it's located at the third floor near Chicco and Anja.

When we went inside, grabe, you should have seen how Faye's aura transformed. Ibang iba talaga. Parang gusto na niya tumira dun, ganun. I wish all preschool teachers are like Faye. Yung tipong love na love niya talaga what she does. I was asking her this morning when she was with me in the car to work. I asked bakit hindi siya maghanap ng ibang work in a different field. The pay kasi is not that high for preschool teachers eh. Sabi niya okay lang because gusto daw niya talaga to be a preschool teacher. Yan ang dedication mga ateng. 

Anyways, we were going around and she was pointing out stuff for me to buy. Yan lang ang mahirap kay Faye, she can convince you to buy stuff. Wag na wag mo yang isasama sa Divisoria. Wasak ang wallet mo, I swear. 

So where was I? Ah ayun. She was pointing out these really nice educational toys for me to buy for Anika. Ang mamahal ateh! Wala namang okasyon! And then after that she dragged me to Toys R Us. Ayun, there were cheaper versions pala of what was being sold in that store. Plastic nga lang, not wood.

Faye convinced me to buy "Cutting Fruits" toys for Anika. It's so nice because these pieces of fruits are joined together by a velcro. The baby will use this plastic-super-safe knife to "cut" the fruit. Aliw sobra!

Anika enjoyed it so much. It teaches also the kids which fruit belongs to the other half of it.

Mura lang yan, around Php 200+ only =) Cool huh? Another great discovery for me!
