Timezone Greenbelt 5

I can't believe how time flies talaga. It was just like yesterday when I was making reklamo that all Anika does is to eat and sleep. Now, she's quite a handful already. She so hyperactive and curious about all things.

Last Saturday, I tried to take her to Gymboree in Greenbelt 5 for that one hour play. Being the only kid in the house, I wanted Anika to interact with other people her age. However sadly, there was an ongoing class. Yup, the one with the 100k plus per year enrollment fee class, I think. The next available play time is at 3pm pa daw. It was only 1pm. Ohkey.

We went malling na lang muna instead. We got to Timezone and saw this play area. Php 100 lang! I asked if we can go inside with the baby and the attendant said yes. So me, Girlie and Jekjek played with Anika. One to sawa, Php 100! Katuwa. Gymboree charges Php 250 for an hour. Dito in Timezone, sawa na si Anika magplay (I think, 1 hour and 30 minutes din kami) but we still we weren't being asked to leave. Though, I wanna experiece Gymboree. What is it like to play there? What's the difference?

For the meantime, lemme show you photos from that day.

Anika loves bikes! She always grabs the bikes of her playmate at home.

She climbs over anything. Good thing everything there is cushioned. Very very kid friendly.

Even the post is cushioned. I tried banging my head on it pero hindi masakit =)
Caution: Dont' do this when somebody is looking. Magmumuka kang may sayad.

Swimming in balls!

She keeps on going inside the tunnels...

Cushioned steps

What surprised me is that Anika can climb up the slide all by herself already!

She isn't afraid!

I'm super happy Anika had fun!

Pero ang totoong nagenjoy ay itong dalawa =)

Tatay, we wanna come back there next time with you! =)

  1. suki na ang mga anak ko diyan sa timezone play area! whenever we go to greenbelt, they automatically ask if they can play at timezone. i'm just too happy to agree because the rate is very cheap! =) what's the difference with gymboree? well, i guess they both basically encourage active, physical play although gymboree has more toddler-friendly stuff like slides, balls, tunnels, etc. plus, the kids get to play without the defeaning noise from the timezone arcade machines. you can also try it out then compare which suits anika better =) p.s. tip lang, the timezone play area is open to kids of all ages (unlike gymboree na strict sa age limit), so minsan may mga kids na 7 or 8 years old na grabe may pagka WILD talaga especially when it comes to climbing those slides. so be careful baka tamaan si little anika!!

when anika is older you can also try out cosmic kidz in mall of asia. it's like the timezone play area x 100!!! (4 floors high!!)
