It was already past 4pm when Anika was done with her pedia visit at RITM. Konting konti na lang talaga I will pass out because we haven't had our lunch yet. On our way home, we passed by Army Navy. I mentioned to Alvin that Blogalag (a blog owned by one of our friends) featured this resto. Based on her post, parang masarap kumain dun. Alvin immediately made a U turn and headed for Army Navy. Mukhang gutom na din talaga ang Alvin!
So when we got inside, I immediately ordered these:
The Freedom Fries. Super sarap! Girlie who's a french fries lover liked it. It has a nice touch of spiciness in it. I have to agree with Blogalag because it does taste like the fries of National Sports Grill. I ordered one for Girlie and another for Alvin.
I ordered this Chicken Quesadillas. It's a folded tortilla with chicken, cheese, onions and green bell peppers which is served with salsa. There this another sauce that comes with it that tastes like the sauce of the shawarma of Mediterranean Restaurant. Masarap naman itech. I wasn't able to finish the last piece kasi medyo filling din siya.
I also ordered their freshly brewed iced tea which made me palpitate until I was home. It tastes ok but it was too strong from me. I didn't get the fries so I can order the onion rings. It was masarap! And they were generous on the number of pieces of the rings.
Alvin ordered this Starving Sailor and boy it was big! But Alvin finished it off in no time while complaining (loudly, may i add) that his fingers were getting dirty. (ALVIN: eww..eww.. nomnomnomnom.. ewwww.. yuck.. nomnomnom.. yuck. ewww..) I swear! My husband can climb mountains, have leeches stick all over him, poop in a hole dug somewhere but absolutely, absolutely grossed out when food touches his hands. Men! Who understands them?!
Anyways, I wasn't able to take a picture of it but Girlie ordered the Burger. It's a quarter-pound beef patty with lettuce, tomato slice, onion, mayo and ketchup on a toasted sesame seed kaiser bun. Girlie was the one holding Anika that time so yung fries na lang niya pinapak niya. She ate na lang the huge burger at home and shared it with Elvie.
Army Navy is a pay when you order type of restaurant. Our bill was Php 780! I wanted to pass out na talaga, not because I was hungry but because super expensive ng lunch namin!! Take note, tatlo lang kami. Girlie and Alvin didn't even order drinks! Alvin and I looked at each other. Well, okay lang, food naman eh, Alvin said. I smiled. But in my mind, "Punyeta! Dalawang blouse na to kay All About Good Stuff ah!!"
Verdict:
The food is good though Alvin wasn't that amazed with the Starving Sailor (or dahil kasi mahal siya? you know naman my husband..). The food is a bit pricey for a fast food restaurant. Php 150 for the burger, 200 plus for the starving sailor, 135 ata for my quesadilla, 60 for the fries. So if you're the type of person who doesn't mind expensive food basta medyo masarap, Army Navy is for you.

I loooooove their burger!!! :D The cheese quesadillas wasn't bad & it was filling as well. Gotta try those fries soon. looks so crispy and yummy.
